St. John Beach Bum is generally open from 8:00am to 9:00pm daily. During slow season (August 15th - October 15th), we often shorten our hours.
St. John Beach Bum is fortunate to boast the easiest and most convenient location of any snorkel rental provider! Immediately off the People Ferry Dock, Beach Bum is located in the very first building most visitors encounter upon arriving to St. John! Specifically, we are UPSTAIRS, on the right hand side. All of our doors are wide open!
For any rental or activity, we have a 24-hour cancellation policy. Which is to say, as long as a guest notifies us of their intent to cancel at least 24 hours prior to the start of their reservation, there is no fee and a full refund is issued. Typically, it takes 5-7 business days for credit card returns to process.
No. To the best of our knowledge, there are no longer any rental operations on St. John that still offer umbrellas. The breezy, often gusty shorelines of St. John can turn umbrellas into flying projectiles without notice. Moreover, though inconsistently enforced, umbrellas are actually prohibited at Trunk Bay.
